Not at all. Tap Payments remains your payment processor, while PayLexer simply connects it to FluentCart and keeps everything communicating correctly.
How can I safely test my store before going live?
Enable Test Mode in FluentCart and add your Tap Sandbox API key in PayLexer. After confirming a few successful test orders, switch both to Live Mode.
Will Tap Payments appear automatically in FluentCart?
Yes. After connecting PayLexer and enabling the gateway in FluentCart, customers will see Tap Payments during checkout.
Will PayLexer continue working after FluentCart updates?
Yes. PayLexer is actively maintained to stay compatible with current FluentCart releases, helping keep your payment connection reliable.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are processed from your Tap Dashboard rather than PayLexer. Once completed, you can update the order inside FluentCart if necessary.
