Does PayLexer receive the money from my customers?
No. PayLexer only connects Easy Digital Downloads to Tap Payments. Every payment is processed securely by Tap and sent directly to your merchant account.
Will customers receive their download immediately after payment?
Once Tap confirms a successful payment, Easy Digital Downloads automatically unlocks the download and sends the purchase email, no manual action required.
Can I test digital purchases before launching my store?
Certainly. Use your Tap Sandbox API key in PayLexer, enable Test Mode in Easy Digital Downloads, and complete a few test purchases before switching to Live Mode.
Can someone access my files without completing payment?
Not at all. Download access is only granted after Tap confirms the transaction, helping protect your digital products from unauthorized downloads.
Are there any extra PayLexer transaction fees?
No. PayLexer doesn’t add fees on top of Tap’s pricing or deduct a percentage from your sales.
