How does PayLexer know when to give customers access to their downloads?
PayLexer waits for GoCardless to confirm the payment before notifying Easy Digital Downloads. Once the payment is confirmed, your store follows its normal workflow and grants download access.
Why hasn't my customer received access to their download yet?
Your store only grants access after payment confirmation is received. Since some bank payments take longer to confirm, there may be a short delay before Easy Digital Downloads completes the purchase and provides access.
Do I need to configure GoCardless separately for every digital product?
No. Once you’ve connected GoCardless through PayLexer, the integration works across your Easy Digital Downloads store. There’s no need to configure each product individually.
Can I test digital purchases before opening my store?
Definitely. Running a few test purchases lets you verify that payment confirmations, download delivery, and customer emails are all working correctly before launch.
Does PayLexer process my payments?
No. PayLexer simply connects Easy Digital Downloads with GoCardless. All payments are processed directly by GoCardless.
