Does PayLexer process my payments?
No. PayLexer simply connects WP Travel Engine to Westpac PayWay. Every payment is processed directly by Westpac PayWay.
Why do I need both Test and Live credentials?
PayLexer uses your Test credentials when Debug Mode is enabled and your Live credentials for real payments. Having both lets you test your booking flow before going live.
Does Westpac PayWay require webhook setup?
No. Westpac PayWay doesn’t support webhooks. PayLexer automatically handles payment updates through Westpac PayWay’s API, so there’s no webhook configuration required.
What happens if my Secret API Key expires?
Westpac PayWay Secret API Keys expire after one year. Simply generate a new Secret API Key in your Westpac PayWay account and update it in PayLexer to keep accepting payments.
