Does PayLexer process my payments?
No. PayLexer connects your WP Travel Engine website to PesaPal, while PesaPal securely processes every payment. Your funds never pass through PayLexer.
Why does PayLexer ask for my PesaPal API credentials?
PayLexer uses your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret to create a secure connection with your PesaPal account. Once connected, it can send customers to PesaPal for payment and receive payment confirmations automatically.
What does the Get IPN ID button do?
When you click Get IPN ID, PayLexer automatically registers your payment notification URL with PesaPal. You don’t need to create or configure IPNs manually.
My booking is still showing as pending. Will PayLexer update it automatically?
Yes. Once PesaPal confirms the payment, PayLexer automatically updates the booking status in WP Travel Engine. If the payment method takes longer to confirm, the booking will update as soon as confirmation is received.
Can I test my PayLexer integration before accepting live bookings?
Yes. Connect your Demo credentials in PayLexer, enable Debug Mode in WP Travel Engine, and complete a few test bookings before switching to your Live credentials.
Does PayLexer charge transaction fees?
No. PayLexer doesn’t add processing fees or take a percentage of your bookings. You’ll only pay PesaPal’s standard transaction fees.
